Kron grabs the pace and empties the group, leaving Aladar's family and Bruton behind, while the Carnotaurus are in interest some separation away.
Amid a rainstorm, the stragglers spend the night in a close-by cavern before being found and assaulted by the monsters. Bruton penances himself to bring about a collapse that executes him and one of the Carnotaurus. Aladar energizes the crowd to stand together and drive away the predator, yet it faculties and takes after Kron on the bluff. Aladar and Neera battle back against the Carnotaurus, as it executes Kron. After Aladar thumps the Carnotaurus off the precipice to its passing, he and Neera grieves for his death.
The crowd are then driven back to the Nesting Grounds as their new home. At some point later, another era of dinosaurs trapdoors, among them are Aladar and Neera's kids. The lemurs discovers a greater amount of their kind, and soon they start setting out on another coexistence.
